Yeah, I don't see him playing at a school like Tech. They're big and he just doesn't seem like a fit.

But Cortes following two coaches now sort of speaks to the thought of him leaving. I guess we'll see.
 
I might be wrong on the flight. Hard to know.

For any of you who listen to Teddy and Gabe's pod, they interviewed Thad Turnipseed last week. One thing that struck me was when he spoke about the Clemson football fans. He said that from the time he got there, he noticed that their fans showed up to every game on time and stayed till the end (i.e., even when they were playing terrible teams), and no matter what time the game started. He clearly believes that kind of support made a huge difference for the program.

OU fans don't even do that for the football team, let alone the basketball team. If we can't get fans to show up because game time is too early or too late or not in the perfect two-hour window for their personal schedules, it will be tough to play with the big boys when it comes to NIL.

For sure. I'm just trying to pin down the flight lol.

It was interesting that he spoke about players creating separation. I imagine that's priority #1 for him as he recruits right now. Players who can create their own shots. Mo tried but is/was often too small.

A total of six kids but namely, Tyreke Key and/or Micah Thomas (okpreps).

From Terre Haute to...

Chicago. That's where it gets dicey. He could be swinging by just to say hi to some Loyola friends and/or family since he's from there. But the length of stay leads me to believe it's recruiting-related. There are several Chicago D1 schools but I'll list the main names in the portal...

Zion Griffin - UIC
Terry Roberts - Bradley (an hour away but maybe could meet in Chi)
Ryan Young - Northwestern

but there are a couple of other kids transferring from elsewhere who are from Chicago. Jeremiah Williams (Temple), Xavier Pinson (Mizzou), etc. Maybe they're home...probably not.

Okay, from Chicago to...

Normal, IL. Home of Illinois State and home of? Antonio Reeves. A guy OU has contacted reportedly.

Then the last stop, before flying back to OKC, is....

Springfield, MO. Whoever is flying plans to be there almost 3 hours. The big fish at MO ST, Isaiah Mosley, isn't currently in the portal, publicly anyway. They do have a couple of others in the portal though.

Maybe, maybe not. Just sort of messing around.

I really wanted him last year when he entered the portal.
 
LSU is loading up fast w/ new coach Matt McMahon.

First, Kendal Coleman from Northwestern St and now Justice Hill follows his head coach from Murray St. Hill averaged 13.4 ppg, 2.3 rpg, and 5.1 apg. First Team All-OVC honors.
