Good stuff, Trav! Thanks!

I'm excited about next year's team. We'll have a well-balanced roster with a projected starter and at least one quality back up at every position.

I think the presence of a true point guard in Jordan Woodard should make every OU basketball fan smile. He is by all accounts, a PG who can handle the ball, create good looks for himself and his teammates, and run the offense with an efficiency we haven't seen in sometime.

That's not meant to take anything away from Grooms or the two freshmen who have played that position this season. It's just that I believe Jordan will prove to be the best option on our roster to play the one next year.

I'm also anxious to see who we end up with in the April signing period to fill the two ships we have open now. Hopefully, one of them will be Randle. If not, I'll take the best players available at any position, as long as one of them is a wing or two guard who can shoot from the perimeter.

PG - Woodard/Cousins
SG - Hornbeak
OG - Hield/Cam/Neal
PF - M'Baye/Bennett
C - Spangler/Hamilton

We know that Cam can handle the 4 spot. I'd like to see us go after another guard. But just with what we see above here, that is a pretty nice start.

One injury and we're screwed down low.
Unless you assume Neal gets a lot of minutes at the 4.
Need to add another post guy. 6-8+.
Given the track record, that's probably a JUCO or Transfer guy.

With the 13th scholarship, I say take the best available HS player (5 to play 4).
Perferably a potential scorer (even if undersized) with a good work ethic.

Cole. Let's at least see how emerges from off season workouts before he is written off.

We've got 4 post players before you get to Cameron Clark or Tyler Neal. I think we'll be fine down low. More worried about the perimeter. We'll really only have 4 guards in Woodard, Hield, Hornbeak, and Cousins. One more of each would be optimal.

I didn't write Cole off, just forgot about him.
I was glancing more at WT's 'depth chart'.

I would like to see OU get Randle and another backcourt player. Someone like Hield that can play the 2 or 3.

Oklahoma is looking at a 6'4" shooter out of the Atlanta area.
Keep an eye on the transfer area.

Do you know his name? Will he have to sit the year out next year or are there unique circumstances that could make him eligible right away?
