I've changed my mind on this guy. At first, I thought he was too much like Capel. Young, relates to players, from VCU. But if you watch this guy coach, you can tell that he is way more mature than Capel was when he started at OU.

I was in that arena last November when VCU kicked the ever-loving piss out of us. It was LOUD.

I bet Jeff Capel is actually responsible for VCU making the final four. If they lose, it will likely be Sampson's fault.

I like this guy as a potential coach but it seems strange (almost bad karma) to take two coaches in a row from the same school. Those poeple will hate us if it happens.

That is a very appropriate comment about the KU fans. I went to the games at the BOK last weekend and any time a whistle was blown against KU they were OUTRAGED and very LOUD about it! Give them credit, they do suppor ttheir team, but they do seem to be a fan base that thinks their players never foul or walk or camp out in the lane etc.
