I disagree that we know the candidates. Joe C has proven that he digs deeper than we do. Nobody talked about Capel being candidate, and we were all caught off guard with that, and before that, nobody talked about Bob Stoops being in the running.

I didn't have a favorite candidate on Monday, but after having four days to read everyone make their case, I have been very impressed with Johnny Jones.

I want Buzz Williams so bad I'll be really disappointed if he's not our coach next year. He can't sing worth a flip. But when you listen to what he says in the video interview Sam posted, he is exactly what we need to turn this program around.

One thing he said stood out to me: "You won't fit here if you're consumed with yourself."

If that had been our moto last year, we might not be in the mess we're in right now. A few players on that team were so consumed with themselves, they lost sight of what getting a free ride to a college education is all about.

Hire Buzz Williams, Joe! He's worth whatever you have to pay to get him here.

These are all realistic candidates that are probably going to be contacted about the job.

You could bet money that Buzz, Billy, and Terry will be contacted.

For what it's worth, I voted for Josh Pastner..... I like his recruiting pipeline and enthusiasm. Buzz and BCG would be a close 2nd and 3rd for me. I would be happy with any of the 3.
