We might have a commitment..........

Welcome aboard young fella!!!!!! I hope that your stay in Norman is very productive!!!! :clap:clap:clap

This statement is made more clownish with the fact that we're looking at Cornell, Butler, and Northern Iowa making runs to the sweet 16.

nice:clap

I would think like others that as the POY in Oklahoma he would be good enought to play D1 ball. We have a serious challenge in finding players that will help in the long haul and right now. He is probably a long haul type player. Leadership takes time to develope as may have said Blake spoiled us but I also wonder how much of the leadership was Taylor in the background. We will see in any event I am glad to have him and all I will say about the hair is he look more like Napoleon Dynamite! Lets hope he is dynamite.

Yeah, who would recruit Ali Fourakmanesh, Omar Samham, Gordon Heyward, Ryan Wittman, etc.

Welcome aboard! I thought the same thing when I saw this kid's film - he looks like those players who plays for teams like Butler . . . and am happy to see he committed.

We need to start filling our roster with top area players. Maybe a top Texas kid once in a while and top JUCOs. That's where our last 2 coaches got their bread and butter.

here he is in the early years with Slater, Zac, and Kelly

Cade Davis is probably our best player going into next year. Not our most talented but overall he'll do the most and he wasn't recruited by anyone. If Tyler Neal is another Cade Davis type guy we need about 2 or 3 more of those.

If by "anyone" you mean major programs, you are right.
He did have several other D1 offers including Nebraska, ORU and Tulsa, and was being recruited by Sampson.

in the past Tulsa has slapped other programs around filling their roster with Okie kids "no one of importance recruited"
