Regarding this team's potential. Hopefully it peaks in March!

Agree...I think they are coming into their own. There are a ton of different styles of ball clubs in the big 12! Love seeing our guys adapt to these presses and different types of Os and Ds! Great win tonight!

This team has the potential to be suffocating defensively against anyone. If they can continue to gel, we could have a nice postseason run.

The bench needs to have some solid all around games for this to occur.

For the most part, our bench did what they had to do to give our starters a little rest. Lattin and Walker played well. Booker did, too, except for the brain-dead three he took and a couple of pressure turnovers.

Have a KU buddy who put it best. KU is likely going to win the Big 12 but OU has a higher ceiling this year than KU (and a lower basement).

I'be been saying it for a few months now. I can see this OU team losing in the first round of the NCAA tourney and also making the Final Four.

I'm sorry, but this is just silly. KU's ceiling is astronomical if guys like Oubre and Alexander, etc. play to their potential...we have a very high ceiling, but what they have on their team is multiple transcendent college players and more flexibility from their bench.

Our ceiling is incredibly high when we play defense. Very high. We could outperform KU in the post season, and I would rejoice in this. But KU's talent + game day coaching gives them one of the highest ceilings in the country.

Agreed. Our team is better than most fans here give us credit for being and they showed it tonight. But Kansas's ceiling is higher than anyone's in the conference.

Well said. I do think you can argue that we have a better starting 5, but the depth and quality of their bench (Greene, Alexander, Mykhailiuk, etc.) makes them a little more well-rounded than we are as well.

Are you talking about the time Lattin was wide open at the rim?

Exactly then. Booker wants to be the hero so bad. If he plays within the offense instead of forcing it I think his shots will fall more consistently. That was a bad decision. He is young but the coach needs to reign him in.

As long as our defense is as effective as it was last night we can play with most anybody. A lot of our offense comes from our defensive game. It seems that the offense does much better when the defense is working well. Good defense gives us a rush.

Agree that when we play with great defensive intensity that we could beat anybody on any night anywhere. Consider that playing that way led to a 40 point swing against West Virginia.

We lost to KSU, Creighton, and Washington by a combined 7 points only playing 20 minutes of intense defense. Beat OSU by double digits the same way.

I agree 100%. We've seen this teams potential in flashes. If they can start playing up to the ability that we've seen, night in, night out, this team can make a run.

I just now got to watch the WVU game, I was at my younger brothers high school game last night, and I was very impressed with the way we played. IMO, it might have been our best game of the season. WVU is really a terrible matchup for us, possibly our toughest matchup of all the Big 12 teams, minus possibly KU. And we found ways to completely negate their advantages. After the game @WVu, I was critical of Woodard. He proved me wrong last night. He did turn the ball over 5 or 6 times, BUT I though he held it together very well, considering how he did @WVU.

We've got one really good road win @UT, and a solid one @OSU. We obviously need to win both @TTU & @TCU, but winning @KSU is crucial IMO. We need to do whatever it takes to not be swept by anyone. Split w/ ISU, beat KU in Norman, and win the games we are supposed to win and we are in realllllly good shape. IMO, 10/11 wins is likely, 12 is definitely a possibility after watching our last two outings.
