Well this 10 team Big 12 thing may not last long afterall

I think this isn't about money it's about the LHN showing HS football games which is probably illegal anyway.

they're holding the Big-12 together with baling wire and duct tape. we need to leave while the gittin' is good.

IMO OU belongs in the SEC.

That would be great for OU basketball, because OU's probably a top 5 SEC program pretty quick.

We're probably a top 3 Big 12 program. Top 2 over the last 20+ years, even with the Capel nightmare.

I'll pass.

A&M will find out what nebraska is about to find out. They just effectively traded money for more butt kickings. Any south division team would have no trouble finding a conference. The Pac 12 is still interested in moving to 18 teams.

We're pretty darn close to be top 5 in the Big 12 right now. We'll certainly be there in a year, if we aren't already.

If you are only looking at OU, sure.

I see Baylor, ISU, Kansas, Texas, KSU, and OSU loading up too. Hell, ISU will be flat-out loaded in 2012-2013.

Of course KU and UT will have talent.

KSU will have as little talent as they've had in 5 years on campus this year. OSU? Seriously? And sorry, but I'm not jumping on the ISU wagon either.

What dont you like about the ISU wagon?

Sporting News reporting that both A&M and OU are so concerned about the Longhorn Network that they are thinking about bolting.

I am not smart enough to figure out how realistic all this is or what it would mean, but it seems unlikely to me that OU and OSU would ever split up. Also, why is just "Sporting News" now? I am going to be a rebel and continue to call it "The Sporting News."
