The Sooners got considerably more votes this week and are now ranked 24th in the AP poll. I was skeptical that we'd get there this week.

OU got 73 voting points this week after getting 21 in the previous poll to rank 29th in points received.

Tennessee and OU have some tough games this week. For most, it's a soft week.

UConn can give its starters a week off.

It is interesting that Texas is still ranked while 4-5 in conference play. They must place a lot of emphasis on preseason wins over Tennessee, A&M, and Stanford.
