What a difference 4 months makes

Like everybody, I suspect, I was excited about TMG and Tiny and WW going into the season and sick at the end.
Then suffering through last year with little talent and only two decent players going into this year with none on the horizon....It was that "none on the horizon" that really got me. I saw no future for this team.
Now, while it surely will take at least two years to become competitive, I have no doubt we will be very much improved from the start of this year and will get better and better. I have no predictions about where we will end up in the conference, but I'm sure we will perform better, look better, feel better and smile more.

I was just about to come on here and start a thread about how awesome it is that OU basketball is "fun" again. I really haven't been this excited about the program since right after Capel was hired. I really think LK was the perfect hire at this time. He may not bring us a NC, or even a FF, but I think he'll leave the program in great shape when he decides he is done. Cannot wait for the season to start!
