With everything swirling and falling apart today, I want to know what everyone think OU owes the fans as far as information is concerned. To me, I think OU owes the fanbase at the very least a statement saying the sky is or isn't falling.

On a related note, I love that James Hale is ignoring all this and talking to Andy Dillard about Tiger Woods. Really? Now?

I'm not sure I'd believe them if they did say it. I am afraid this program may be falling apart in front of our eyes.

I don't think the program should say anything until their investigation is completed.

Edit: Just to cheer some people up, remember that people felt the same way after Bomar. What followed that? The best quarterback this school has ever seen. Maybe Neal will be that next diamond in the rough (I doubt it, but may as well hope so).

If you read his comments on the premium board about Capel you'd think everything was fine.

Really all that has happened is an assistant coach resigned and we lost a pg prospect that we got in on late about two hours later. Lots of speculation that can be made out of both of happening in close proximity, but we will get PLENTY of that over the next 24-48 hours.

It's not like we've declared war on a foreign country, we don't need a statement read from the Oval Office.

Chill.
