Hes out makin money ballin. Ballin dough for donut holes at the local dunkin donuts.

Damn, can we leave this kid alone? Some people aren't cut out for college. The OP had a genuine interest in TMG and you clowns wanna turn it into a bash fest.

Anyways, last I heard he was in Houston rehabbing his injured wrist. I assume he will play overseas because Ryan Wright got signed over there and it wasn't like he was that impressive.

I would also like a serious answere to the OP.

I think Europe would be great for TMG.

Some people are also, it seems, not cut out to play defense.

Sorry, but if the worst that happens to TMG and Tiny is that they come in for a little razzing here on this board, they're getting off pretty easy, given the season results they helped to bring about. The University and the fans showed commitment to and faith in them, and expecting hard work, hustle and commitment in return, on the court and in the classroom, is not expecting too much.

I wouldn't care if either guy ever got mentioned here again, but when they do, they'll often come in for a few barbs. But they'll survive.

In any case, I seriously doubt they read this board. They barely cared while they were in Norman; I feel certain Sooner hoops are well off their radars now.

Not disagreeing with the premise of your post, but Tiny did just fine in the classroom during his year at Oklahoma. TMG passed his first semester and was set to pass his second prior to not returning from spring break. Neither had issues gradewise during their respective enrollments at OU.

these guys put in a lot more work than us fans. all we have to do is show up to games and cheer, which we were pretty horrible at. these guys are the ones putting in the work, even though it wasn't much.

I'm always amazed (although I guess I shouldn't be) of how someone trys to ask a serious question, yet 90% of the responses are childish, immature attempts at poor humor that simply aren't close to being funny.

Some of you need to seriously give up the comic routine.

Sigh. I must agree. I have not looked at the board in a while. Now I remember why.

So no news on the TMG front? I am curious if he is going to play somewhere. I guess I should have expected a simple question to turn into TMG bashing. Let it go people, let it go...

Seriously? At least my response bumps the thread so that someone with the answer who may not be on here constantly can answer it. I didn't see in the forum rules that every post must be deadly serious.

Earlier in the summer, TMG was working out at a place called Legends close to The Woodlands in north Houston. The guy I talked to was a former HS POY in Houston so he played some pickup ball with him ..... commented on how small he was. I asked the guy if TMG was still going to Legends and he told me he was hurt and he hasn't seen him recently.

Jeff Capel has been harder on him than anyone in this forum.

Hard but fair. Capel never makes snarky, mean-spirited jokes at the expense of TMG like people on this board. Not that I'm complaining, because I love the jokes and it's pretty natural for people are to make fun of things that bother them. This is the internet. If a person expects everyone on the net to love them they must have been born yesterday. I haven't heard Capel say anything about TMG that I thought was unfair, considering what I've heard went on last year and saw with my own eyes. TMG was presented with a lot to handle, but others have had the same or bigger burdens and handled it. With great talent come lofty possibilities: succeed and become a hero for many, fail and become a goat to many. Is this really surprising to anyone? This is how things work guys.

People who aren't totally invested in a team winning and doing things the way the coach wants tend not to last long. Oh look, a few guys from last year are gone this year. I wonder why?

Is this fair to Tiny? He made a couple of bad decisions but he indicated he wanted to continue, per Bigtime he made his grades. I wish he had not had the trouble with the money issue and was still on the team. I think OU would be substantially better if Tiny were still around.

I think many of us wanted Tiny to be Blake Griffin and that is probably not fair to any kid. Granted Tiny fell quite a bit short with respect to his missing a practice and walking off the court but he put up pretty solid numbers for a freshman. I am going to wish Tiny, Willie and TMG well. I have held far to many grudges in my life and I don't any of them have been productive.

Coach Capel's said these guys didn't work hard when they arrived in Norman, that there were attitude issues, and, yes, Tiny did get us in dutch with his financial dealings.

So I've written them off. I feel no connection to them, no loyalty, no interest. I don't wish them ill; I just don't give them a thought.

They didn't exhibit commitment and loyalty to OU, so they're off my radar, except when they are discussed here. When I hear that Tiny's in the best shape of his life, I'd like to think, "Great -- good for him." But what I think instead is, "Why didn't he work that hard while he was in Norman?"

Can't help it. That's just what happens. They did damage to my beloved hoops program, and it/we didn't deserve that. But if they were never mentioned here again, believe me, I wouldn't bring them up. It's not a vendetta.

As for my mentioning their classroom work, I really meant "on the court and off of it." Bad wording on my part. I didn't mean to specifically call their coursework into question, because I know nothing about that. If they were committed students, that's one point in their favor.
