When Capel enters the LNC

heard he wanted to come out of center court with smoke and stuff as he is doing the ROK sign with his hands, with jay-z playing in the background
"in Norman
country jungle where dreams are made of,
there is not much u can do'
now your in norman,
these dirt roads will make you feel brand new,
small lights will inspire you,
lets hear it for norman, norman, norman"
i think its a good idea and will show the players its about image and being cool no matter where you are!

And you also thought Michael Neal wasn't a good 3 point shooter...

haha you want me to list all the things you were wrong about?

I didn't know he was injured his senior season when he was terribly inconsistent. His senior season, he was not a good 3 pt shooter.

So, you don't really follow Oklahoma basketball? Why do you post here if you don't follow the team?

I do follow OU basketball. I wasn't as knowledgeable about it back then b/c I didn't frequent this board. I went to the games and that was it.

Now could you post those articles?

Capel definitely commented about the fans being loud when he and the team came in. He was trying to compare it to Duke and the other loud arenas. Unfortunately, I doubt it is very loud next year. Unless Capel pulls off a miracle recruiting class, we are going to be near the very bottom of the Big 12.

I don't have the articles. If I did, I'd gladly post them. 3 other posters have corroborated what I stated and agreed with the tone of Capels comments (that they weren't taken out of context).

Capisce?

The quote I remember was that he said he gets "nervous" before he walks out of the tunnel because he's worried about what the crowd would be like.

Also how I would describe myself before walking through the LNC doors!

that's how I took that quote also...that he was worried how sparse the crowd might look.

Now, that I DO remember.

exactly. He wasn't commenting on how he wants louder applause for him.

how funny is it that right after you posted this, 3 people made opposite statements of this

I don't consider what I said to be the opposite of what Big Old Booger said.

opposite wasn't a good word. It is different from what booger said though.

Capel didn't like the reception he received before home games when he exited the tunnel.

Booger, theres no need to hide behind PMs. YOu can insult me in public. I swear I can take it.

I remember hearing what Booger is saying. I don't have links either. That stuff is over a year old.
