It is so weird how the mighty have fallen. You come into a situation where a young coach brings a new look and we start to win. You have a superstar come to OU and provide us with at the time was atop 5 program. You then line up a top 10 recruiting class right behind him leaving and we have a terrible season and most all of them are gone because they where not good as we thought. WOW!!! Now you start all the way at the bottom and must take a beating every-time you get on the floor because we don't have the talent.
Coach and the AD would have had to set down and talk about this after the recruiting and bad season happened. Joe C and Coach Capel only know the real story and what is now expected of the program going forth.
When the team was great the stands where still not filled for reasons beyond our control. Now the place look like a HS gym. We dont know what Joe C has told Coach but, I believe that the way he stays is if he can get the players he has right now to play above there heads and get a few upsets, that is where the program needs to go. If, these type of play continues I believe there has to be a change. To the kids there now, don't play like those who left from last year did. Play for your coach and get this turned around....:clark:
