Y'all have done an excellent job on this board

not too many years ago a few seasons like we have had would have DECIMATED the board that existed at that time. Nice job to members and admin alike for being able to handle differences of opinion with civility.

Next year and beyond looks to be much brighter so things should really start to shine very soon. I like forward to this gray haze over our program lifting.

That's a credit to the mature posters on this boad, who also happen to be the most knowledgeable basketball fans you'll find anywhere. I'm biased, of course. But that's how I feel.

Thanks. Although we (the admin) haven't really done anything. I actually think the less we moderate, the better. I know I most definitely over-moderated the first couple years of the site and I certainly apologize for it.

Everyone posting now seems to be getting along fairly well this year, but we don't have as near as many posting either. Hopefully things get turned around people start getting interested in posting again. There's a lot of posters I miss. Even some of the crazies. I can see why so many have lost interest and vanished. I'm struggling too and am really starting to get beat down and dreading the games.

I'm really not sure what the future of the site is. Life for me has changed since I started it, with a growing family and all. Never asked anyone for a dime for anything we've done here and likely never will, but I'm realizing what's been done will never be enough as complaints come in weekly. I guess that comes with the territory though.

Not sure if I'm going to continue the home page or not after this season. Honestly, I'm leaning toward taking it down. It's not like anything on there is groundbreaking anyway, except for Sam and William's articles, but those can be posted on the board. But we'll always have the boards. Hopefully Sam and William will keep checking in with recruiting updates, and I'll keep posting the daily articles and whatever else I dig up. And then hopefully someday I'll get rejuvenated and bring the home page back with a better effort than it's getting now.

I don't mean to be a debbie downer on a down year, but one of the negatives of a good year will be a bunch of idiots. If you don't believe me, just check out any OU football board.
Frankly, I've been rather annoyed with this board, because of some posters, (Ada knows my thoughts), but, as well, this board has been a lifeboat for OU Hoops fans.
There are great things ahead for OU Basketball and for this board. You guys deserve a lot of credit for keeping this going along the way.
I'm a bit strangled on providing photo content, but I'm going to check about providing some.
We can all take solace in the fact that while this season has again sucked, the future will be better.
Reasonable projection: Final Four within 7 years
Outlandish projection: James Fraschilla coaches OU to back to back Championship games when my youngest daughter is a student at OU.

If OUHoops walked into a room filled with members of this site who remember how and why it was started four years ago, as well as how he has sacrificed his time and his own money to keep it going, I feel sure he would receive a standing ovation. Few here really understand the commitment he's made over the years. It has been a labor of love for OU basketball that can't possibly have been easy to justify the past three seasons.

I'll be honest, I'm not sure I would have held up to the daily grind this long, much less take money out of my own pocket every month to see OUHoops continue.

This is my version of a standing O, OUHoops! You danged sure deserve it.

I can't thank you all enough for having this board. I feel like I learn more about college hoops and in-state recruiting here than anywhere else. I like the front page but can understand if it's hard to keep up with. I'm sure many of us would help out in any way possible to keep these boards going. It's weird, but I think I'd be a lot more disappointed with OU hoops without having this board. Rather than screaming "we suck" and throwing a beer at the TV, I do all that then come here and break down exactly why. Somehow that makes it easier to swallow (not the beer, it's always easy to swallow).
