Trae Young and Shaina Pellington were both named Big 12 Freshman of the Year. Trae was also unanimously selected for the All-Big 12 First Team and the Big 12 All-Newcomer Team.
Pellington was also selected to the All-Big 12 Freshmen Team, and was chosen All-Big 12 honorable mention.
