#11 OU vs texas 6pm CST on ESPN

Not an overreaction. He's now 0-5 against our biggest rival. OU like said earlier had a chance to build on momentum and beat a not unbeatable UT team. And they choked. Don't complain about crowds if you're going to pull this crap.
Yep, when the fans finally show up and the team once against pisses down their leg....it's a tough sell to convince the casual fan to come back out and watch this group. Rinse and repeat.

It's one thing to lose; it's quite another to embarrass yourselves against your rival, and that's just what happened tonight. Entering the game, texas was the worst rebounding team in the Big 12; tonight they outrebounded OU by 17. We came out in a fog and never really came out of it.

I don't want to hear another word from Coach Moser about the crowds. Tonight was arguably the biggest game of his career at OU--at least it could have been. Sold-out house, lots of enthusiasm about the program, playing a rival that's been struggling--and the team laid a freaking egg. They were in no way ready to play.

I don't know if Loyola-Chicago has any rivals, but Moser doesn't seem to have a grasp of the importance of rivalry games. He's a combined 1-9 against oswho and texas and that one win was by two points in OT in Norman. This game was as disappointing as any I can remember in recent years.

The good news is they've got a chance at redemption on Saturday. I think how they play on Saturday will kinda determine my feelings for the rest of the year.

I’m ok calling it the 2nd or 3rd worst loss of his tenure behind the 1st game of the year last year or the osu game last year.

Completely agree. Also, rebounding is mostly about effort and we let a bad rebounding team kill us on the boards. Texas came to play and we did not. Total embarrassment. I am quickly losing faith in moser but im also worried we can’t hire anyone better. Idk. I’m so deflated after this game.

This is one you flush and move on....we'll see what they're made of on Saturday.

Moser is what 1-14 against Kansas. Texas and OSU ? Time to take a look in the mirror how he approaches rivalry games because this loss just can’t happen like this on your home floor in year 3.

Really takes a lot of the momentum from this team the way this game played out with that crowd at home.

Moser has shown that he can get his team ready for a game or two here and there. He even showed that last year. He hasn’t shown any ability to sustain anything for more than a week, so nothing that happens Saturday will mean much unless it is followed by a long stretch of good basketball. We needed two wins this week, period. We haven’t even gotten to the toughest part of the schedule. 8-10 looks like a best case scenario. I guess we’ll find out if that’s good enough for the people who have hyped the talent and depth on this team.

Also, if Cooper didn’t want to punch Moser in the face when he put him in for 30 seconds, he is a better man than I am. This is yet another example of where having him as an option would have been nice. Uzan may as well have been shaving points. Godwin was so bad that we went small a couple times. Still, one of our three best athletes sits on the bench while seeimingly every other coach in the league plays freshmen every game. If that kid transfers, Moser should be ashamed.

I’m in the flush and move on camp too. It’s sucks to get embarrassed at home in front of a great crowd. But Texas isn’t a lousy as folks want to think and OU picked the wrong night to come out and play like dog-spit. Got to win the next one.

Another home loss Saturday in front of 7k fans will determine our finish.
Agreed. I doubt they make the tournament if they lose on Saturday. They may pick up a few more wins but not more than 18 imo.

If this game was an outlier, sure. But it happens multiple times a year. You can’t just keep saying flush it when we crap the big in our biggest home games every year under r this coach.

As for Texas: a week ago, they were being mocked by the board for being awful, and terribly coached. Much like people were calling for sweeps of OSU, Tech, KSU, West Virginia, etc a few weeks ago. How quickly people lower expectations once they realize those teams are improving and we are regressing.

Horns tied it up at 17:55 2nd half, never trailed after

I'm convinced that game threads are the worst part of sports.
