That's fine, but this isn't the first time he's had to apologize to the fans on the postgame. Once again, I (amongst others) was fooled by our gaudy non-conference numbers going 13-1, but really beating no one outside of a full-strength Providence (Iowa and USC aren't good at all). And for the third year in a row, we are beginning to be exposed once again in conference as being no better than a run-of-the-mill team at best. We've lost three conference games by 9+ points when the game was pretty much over with 5-6 minutes left as well as our halfcourt offense being absolute ass most of the time. Could we recover and maybe go 9-9 or so?....sure I guess, but recent history under Moser says this team fades. He has a tough task ahead of him getting this group to play clean and somewhat consistent ball moving forward. But his biggest fight is against his own track record.Moser after the game said he first and foremost wanted to apologize to the fans. Said it was all on him.
Missed opportunity. Unacceptable to be out hustled by texas at home. As someone else mentioned, many of our fickle fans won’t be back on Saturday. See if they can pick themselves up off the mat.
