6'8 with a long wingspan and plays bigger than he is.
I'm with you BC. Victor Iwaukor seems to have a personal grudge with any rim he encounters. Kinda has a Jermi Grant like game to him. There maybe some higher up on the big board but I wouldn't be disappointed in the least to get a aggressive guy like him. Blocks a lot of shots. His film shows him above the top of the square on the backboard. I don't know how many games he played last year but his hudl bio showed he had 123 blocks. I've seen him listed at 210 LBS but he looks thicker to me and is cut up. Saw some highlights of him playing with Drew Timme so they are some what aquatinted through summer league. I would take that front court in a heartbeat. Obviously, If you can find and sign a 6'10" plus skilled guy you take it but I'm on board taking a smaller 6'8" 6'9" post guys in today's game. OU hasn't had a lot of success with the bigger guys and not for a lack of trying. I just think it's a safer position to hedge your odds of development.
Victor, Timme, Harmon to go with a SF, SG, CG/PG. Let's be real here, That trio would be a really solid haul. If some how you get Williamson (I know it's a long shot) the next question is how many of them are 4 year players? Do Harmon and Williamson project as early entree kind of talents?
Coachtalk, do you see Harvey still as a possibility? I don't know why but I never really considered him as a legit option but you know more about the Kansas guys than I. If you get the trio on board I would say the odds could go up a little. I'd be ecstatic if that were the case. The kid can shoot. Malik Hall, Jaden Hill, Martin Jr, the juco Thomas is just getting into the crazy team talent level talk but I'm willing to go there. September is shaping up to answer some question as where we are heading one way or the other.
New training facility, Jordan brand combined with obvious but still cleaver marketing of Bird-Man-Ek, Recent top 10 draft pick, 5*Harmon and a respected coach that's
not a drunk, cheat sleaze ball that belittle's his players will surely sprout into something good on the horizon. If not, the experts will take over the coliseum and OU basketball will fall like Rome. Good thing we don't need 300 but just 5 or 6 that want to be apart of shaping history and correcting the record. OU DNA, is it Sparta of you? I'm ready for my bread and circuses dammit, but I'll settle for beer and nachos to close out a top 10 class.
