2019 Recruiting

May be true, but it gives you faith in OU's evaluation process.

Yes, a little credit given every now and then from certain dark and gloomy corners would be greatly appreciated.

I view it as OU just turning into a glorified scouting department for the big boys. Which is not a good thing if OU cant land a couple of those. Harmon is a very good start, but if OU jmis just a scout for KU, then OU will go nowhere in the scheme of things.

What would you suggest—avoid all of the high profile recruits on our list so KU and others can’t take advantage of the time our coaches invest in scouting these players? Something tells me you wouldn’t be satisfied with that approach either.

Unfortunately, OU is not in a position to pick and choose the way KU, Duke, UNC and other so called blue bloods seem to do every season. Our coaches don’t have a choice but to stay the course with these kids and hope it pays off in time, the way it did with Harmon. Throwing up our hands in surrender to the likes of KU and others is not the answer.

Lol :ez-roll:

Ie. Don't scout/recruit, other big names might get involved...

Back to OU...

I understand the anxiety on Oklahoma fans’ part, since the Sooners have been a bit silent with their 2019 class after nabbing the pledge of De’Vion Harmon, a top 35 guard, several months back. However, just as I outlined in my recent The Deep Three, I don't expect OU to sit still much longer. Lon Kruger and his staff will use the heightened platform that his football counterparts will bring in the coming weeks and will host some of the nation's best. Rivals150 prospects Jalen Hill and Victor Iwuakor just visited campus over the weekend, and other notable ranked seniors such as Sam Williamson, Malik Hall, Tyreek Smith, Christian Braun and Tyson Etienne are expected to do just the same before the month of October rolls around. Toss in the Sooners’ priority pursuit of five-star Jaden McDaniels and it is only a matter of time before the Big 12 program strikes in the 2019 class.

TCU just picked up 2 4-star players. Eventually, OU has to, right?

Ill wager we sign at least 2 more 4 stars? and more than likely 4. Wanna wager?

Why still come here is you just put down OU all the time? Just enjoy trolling or fire bob stoops crowd?

Tyson Etienne received a crystal ball to OU! I will take that as good news.
