What I like is... These dudes are gonna have to battle every single day. 10 dudes competing every single day.

Early start on the “we too deep” argument. Houston played eight guys this year. That’s consistent with what most elite teams do most years. I have no idea how our roster will play out but I can assure you we won’t have 10 guys who are legitimately good enough to be contributing players on a quality SEC team. It’s been over three decades since we had anything like that.

Agree, but that would still seem to imply that we go 10 deep or else the playing time competition wouldn’t be that stiff. But I do understand/appreciate your point.

Idk what he said but battling in practice everyday. If we sign another guard. Hes battling 3-5 proven guys. That makes you better

8 hours a week in the summer or whatever dumb rule there is

I always liked Nwankwo more than Jones. Certainly could see it go either way, especially given the Achilles injury, but I’m not 100% sold that Jones starts as we stand today. Not a bad problem to have

Agree. Jones shooting spreads the floor a tad more. But I think Jeff starts over someone.

Nwankwo coming off the bigger injury was for sure part of my consideration .. if both are healthy i think it could go either way . both will play a bunch
