2025-2026 Roster (as of 7April25) Davis Committed

IMO North weather is only going to be more productive at a lower level. He's not physical enough to play down low and the only thing he wants to do is shoot outside kind of like Matt Freeman but less skilled perhaps. I hope he might become a good player for us but it looks like he's giving up and looking for other opportunities. Don't blame him. Could be moser's leaving too and he's aware??
If people knew Moser was leaving we’d be player-less at this point. Everyone would be in the portal.

Anyone know anything about the Blair kid. Any good? Also, wonder what the 7 foot kid looks like now. He looked pretty good, but awfully skinny, on the film I saw last year.
since it hasn't been said in here, he is a high MLB draft pick potential, there is a solid chance he never makes it to norman sadly

he is a 3rd round at best currently i think it is likely he is in norman
the math has massively changed with NIL, 3rd round is a $1M signing bonus right up front, and I've heard he likes baseball>basketball.

BUT, if basketball can basically negate that financial windfall (which over 3 years shouldn't be hard), he could come develop at a school that is strong at both and not miss out.

He’d still miss out. Being a part time baseball player in college (not going through fall ball and missing the start of the season due to basketball) as opposed to getting hundreds of at bats in the minors is a significant difference.

bottom of 3rd round is 700kish .. .

also there is limited baseball nil as well ..

it will all depend on what he wants to do .

I'm sorry to see Duke go. He may not be a top-tier star, but he plays with heart and grit and made key contributions in some games this year. I was looking forward to seeing him again in crimson and cream. Surely there's not a big bag awaiting him out there, is there?

I'm not saying this to be overly hateful towards Moser, but.....

If other schools have seen the way some players have flourished after leaving OU, they might think they can get more out of him than OU did this year, and thus might pay more than OU fans would think is justified. Just a thought.

this is good news and refreshing. I figured we'd do another complete overhaul but it seems more players are coming back than prev seasons, so maybe they believe in PM and the future of this program? I do think we still need to add a few key pieces, not sure how many spots that leaves us open with now though.

4 spots as of now but if the settlement is approved (should know this week) basketball moves to 15 spots and OU has 6 spots open

I don't see how this helps OU or teams in OU's position.

I'm for OU focusing on getting a good 10 man roster. Quality over quantity. Hope you don't have major injuries, but with kids not sticking around, redshirts being dumb, and teams not playing more than 8-9 guys at most come conference time, what is the point of having some talented, well paid guy taking up that 12th or 15th roster spot?

If we're literally going to have to re-recruit the roster each season, why pay guys not to play? Pay that money to the top 10 and get a better top 10.

From what I know about Porter, we'll use five of those spots and save one for a last minute gem (like Fears).
