2025-2026 Roster

It would be insane of him not to play baseball. It’s pretty clearly his best sport, as he was seen as one of the top 50 or so players in the country. Redshirting would set his development back a ton.

Do we know with certainty what kind of agreement Skip and Moser have? In other words, if he isn’t getting much/any playing time with the basketball team when baseball comes around, are we sure basketball will remain his priority till whenever the season ends?
he can't be drafted again for 3 years in any event .. (unless he is very old for a freshman (then it is 2) ..

i think the point is that he will be all in on basketball and then play baseball. and if he is talented enough he will get on the field .. (like kyler and brandon jones did) ..

I know the baseball draft rules but it would be insane for a kid who clearly has a brighter future in baseball to put that sport on the back burner any more than he already has. Baseball, more than any other sport, is one where reps matter. You need thousands of at bats in games, plus plenty of time in the cage and in practice/scrimmages, to advance through the amateur and minor league levels. It would be a huge gamble on his part to think he could basically show up every season in mid March, play for 10 weeks, and improve as a player.

I'm sure he also sees himself as a future NBA player ... (for better or worse)

I don’t remember this name at all. Hope he can help the team.
Seems like a practice body. Those highlights aren't jumping off the screen. Happy for any kid that wants to come in, work hard and get better and be a Sooner.

moving this to the end and starting fresh
