2025 NCAA Tourney Bracketology

Here is the espn+ article snippet on OU

"It seems like a long time since the Sooners were among the final few unbeatens at 13-0 in early January. Unfortunately for Oklahoma, Tuesday's loss at Florida was its 10th in 13 SEC games. While this particular defeat didn't cause the NCAA tournament odds to drop significantly -- just a few percentage points in the ESPN Analytics model -- the wheels on the Sooner Schooner are a bit wobbly. The predictive metrics all lie outside of the top 50, and the résumé metrics continue to fall, as well. Like with any SEC bubble team, there is no shortage of opportunity ahead; Oklahoma's next four games are against teams our model has as locks (Mississippi State, Kentucky, Ole Miss, Missouri). But the Sooners will have to find a way to get into the win column or the bubble might eventually burst. (Updated Feb. 18 at 9:20 p.m.)
Next game: Saturday vs. Mississippi State, 1 p.m. (SEC Network) "

Oh the bubble has already burst. It burst after the AM loss

It really is the perfect inflection point for Moser at OU. Beat a team you haven’t beaten yet to likely make the tournament for 1st time…or lose and get pink slipped.
That's how it should be but I'm leaning to him staying

There's just no reason to be winless against Texas for Moser. Go get that **** done at their place.

They are 3-5 at home in conference. No excuses for us if we can't do this. Four years (well, three, since two years ago we weren't close to the bubble) of losing games like this. Enough is enough.

I think it’s possible the committee will throw Porter a bone. They have to be aware this is make or break for him, and he has provided some great tourney moments in the past. As well as them leaving him out a few times when they probably shouldn’t have.

Is that a good thing for the program? Idk, probably not. But I will always want to make March Madness.

I was thinking this, but only because of Fears. Need the top prospects in March for $$

Zero chance. It would be wildly inappropriate, and 2022 was the only time he arguably should have made it. And even if they were inclined to be shady like that, he isn't nearly a big enough name.

As for Fears, this is a smaller scale version of the TY debate. People thought we made it because of Trae, but the reality is, March Madness ratings don't depend on individual players. Hell, we played our tourney game that year at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday. If the NCAA wanted Trae as a ratings draw, seems like they would have put him in prime time rather than when 95% of the country is at work. And Fears is not nearly as well known as Trae.

i have no confidence in beating texas.
what is godwin's status? if he's out....wague fouls out in about 5 minutes and northweather plays about 25 mins.
not saying our chances are zero....but darn close.
