Has anyone here gotten a Fathead before? The big posters for a wall?

I have an OU man cave and I want to get the Blake Griffin Fathead to put on my wall. However with them costing 100 dollars I wanted to see if anyone had one and had an opinion on them. I have a textured wall and it says on their website that the fatheads want a smooth wall.

Probably wouldn't mesh well with your race car bed set.

Kidding.

i have thought about getting a big interlocking OU for my OKlahoma Room but haven't b/c I too have textured walls.

Nice one.

Never been in to the Nascar race car thing. Was board with it after watching 5 minutes with my uncle as a kid.

I don't have a bed in this room, but do have two giant lovesac bean bags that inherited from in-laws.

Did they have Capel or Sampson fatheads?

They do have a fathead of a blue denim shirt. It stops at the neck so I am assuming it is for Sampson.

Personally, I think they should have a fathead of Sampson waving off the basket at OSU.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

You wife is funny.

I don't believe her either, but she keeps pointing out to me on all the design magazines and tv shows they all have wallpaper. Oklahoma is usually behind the times, so it may take a few years to get there but she's been right in the past about trends like this.

I haven't seen any of the design shows with wallpaper. My wife watches them religiously. It might be coming back a little, however I don't think it is taking over. Texture might be out though, my house is 5 years old so it would be right at the end of that. I like them that way, so if I am out, then it's okay with me.

I did laugh however the other day when my parents and brother found out that popcorn ceilings is old school. haha.

I do agree that Oklahoma is always 5 to 6 years behind on everything.

There are few things on this site I don't have an opinion on, textured walls/wallpaper definitely is one.

You might change your mind if you saw it live. Its boring on TV, but in person its an awesome event.

I never cared for it either until I got invited to go to Talledega a few years back. Ever since then I've become a fan.

No one uses wallpaper anymore!

I'm pretty sure that the Fatheads will stick on textured walls.

My wife hates the popcorn ceilings. She keeps talking about scraping it off, but I'm holding her back. Sounds like a bunch of grunt work to me.

I like the textured walls myself, but the wife says they are out. I'd gladly trade the popcorn ceilings for textured walls, though.:ez-laugh:
