I don't think anybody is saying that this kid is going to be the next Robbie Hummell or Ryan Minor. We're just saying his game is similar, against HS competition. Who knows if he'll ever even be a starter if he were to come to OU.
I actually don't like the Ryan Minor comparision. Minor had a lot of overall skills. He was a rebounder, passer, could drive and pull up, post up, etc etc. Neal reminds me more of guys who are just strictly tall and can shoot outside. I don't see Neal every putting up bigtime numbers in college like Minor could. He was a much more complete player.
I could see Neal being more like Brian Boddicker than Ryan Minor.
