All-Access: Five-star PG Trae Young and his family's recruiting roundtable

Check the prediction thread. I posted that a couple days ago.

Just what I have heard from someone on the Norman North team. That is why I am going with OSU.

Was it Jalen Crutchfield? Heard he is down on OU right now...

Im kidding obviously. We'll see what happens.

I say let him go where he and his family decides. Not going to get to worked up over it if he decides KU or OSU. Be honest with yourself..where would you go that would put you in the best place to fill your dreams?

stop

Yeah, yeah. Your sources right??? Haha! Like Ada I agree, your information is about as reliable as my own. sorry not buying it...

i dont want it to be ! but ok bud

if you're quoting UK 5% i said, that was 2+ months ago.

I said KU, OSU most likely and KU favorite a month ago.

recruiting is fluid and if what I say one point changes later on, its because no decision had been made. Its not a done deal til thursday.

Depends on the dreams you want to fulfill. They're not the same for everyone. Trae's dream is to play at a high level in college and use his skills to play in the NBA someday. His father wants him to experience the bright lights of a blue blood school. His mother wants her son to go to OU, so she can keep him close enough to watch him play and be available in case he needs her. It's a right reserved for mothers, only they understand.

Word is Trae wanted to go to OU from the start. And, why not, he was the team's ball boy once, and he has a longstanding relationship with the coaches and the players developed over time through the number of games he attended. If home is where his heart is on Thursday, he'll fulfill an immediate dream by choosing OU.

One thing is certain about Trae's decision on Thursday. Some of the posters here will be right and some will be wrong. There have been so many up and down and back and forth opinions, no one will be able to claim bragging rights. Truth is, none of us really know for sure right now.

If I'm right about OU, I'll be happy. But no one will see me thumping my chest and declaring myself the winner. The only winner will be the school Trae Young picks tomorrow. He's that good.

Anyone else incessantly clicking on every Trae Young thread they can get their hands on?

I'm going to predict....Western Kentucky. Seriously, it makes sense. Just look at their recruiting class.

If Trae does commit to Kansas, what are the actual odds he would be the starting PG next year as Self promised? They already have 6 guards and 5 post players on their team. Personal opinion think the starting lineup will be: Graham, Svi, Newman, Bragg and Preston (possibly azubuike). Maybe they will play a 4 guard lineup, but not sure how with Preston, Azubuike and Bragg (plus lightfoot). Lots of guys trying to make it to the next level with not a lot of minutes to go around.

I would guess at least two of the returners might be gone because of all the sexual/assault shenanigans. Bragg and Vick for sure. They just can't sweep it under the rug. Maybe more. Just guessing.

Actually, it's a done deal, it's just unknown to most

Trae's Dad: "Well, son, have you ever heard of JoJo White?"

That's my Devil's Advocate post for 2017. Carry on!

:oldwt356:

I remembered Jo Jo White, but thought he was a 2-guard...he was a PG and better than Mookie (wow, one PG n school history better than Mookie)...so I stand corrected. However, if he's the Jayhawks third best all-time NBA player (and he is), I don't see a huge advantage for anyone going there over OU.

One more thing for Trae to tell dad: "Buddy Hield was the 146th best player coming out of high school. After four years under Coach Kruger, he was the 6th pick of the NBA draft and is now a millionaire. Imagine what coach could do with a McDonald's All-American like me?"

I was just joshing! That why I put the uber-watted smile of WWT alongside it to show that I was just joshing you.

Screw Kansas, and screw JoJo White too!

I like the way you think, WF! Guess that's one of the reasons we have been friends the past ten years. Preach, brother!

Stop what? Why wouldn't a person go where he/she is the best fit for them?
I couldn't care less what the fans wanted, you got to pick the best for your needs not the fans..now you can stop

you know

Anybody can go and look at your posts. They are all the same tone, passive aggressive responses.
