All-Access: Five-star PG Trae Young and his family's recruiting roundtable

Him and mom seem to like OU a lot...

Yep. I think that may be the winning combination in this race to the finish line for the grand prize.

Dominant father or not, it would be a mistake to bet against Mama. ;)

I don't want it to be !

Me neither and I'll readily admit I see things as Crimson as they come... Hard to trust someone's sources until you see them validated. If they are and he chooses OSU then I'll be the first to admit I was wrong about your information you claim to have...
but to why I believe there's no way in heck he goes to OSU:

1. No smoke to the fire you're selling- sorry a secret that big would be out by now... why aren't your sources telling people with more clout than you.

2. Underwood has zero track record in putting guys in the NBA. The family made clear in the article that was very important. Juwan Evans success cannot be solely attributed to Underwood... he was this good last year, but got hurt. And honestly he probably stays for his JR year.

3. It makes business sense to go to KU for collegiate/court success and to go to OU because LK gives him the keys to the kingdom. Therefore, Trae Young has no business going to OSWHO...

Yes, betting against momma is always a mistake. And as I read it and listened to Ray's interview the other day on the radio... sure remember him saying he's always gonna play devils advocate with Trae...

Interesting article to say the least. I actually find it sad in that it seems like if this young man doesn't make it to the NBA his life is over and a failure. I'm not sure if it seems that way based on his father's comments or Trae's. It just struck me as if this kid might not be able to enjoy his college days due to the pressure he and others are applying. Hope I'm wrong. Hope he's successful. Hope he picks OU!

Good points and agree that there is a lot of pressure on him: whether from Himself, family or from fans. Kids gonna have to fight that and find his identity in the right things.
