Alondes Williams has enter transfer portal

Wonder what didn't click with Moser, from whatever direction it was...

Playing time. We’ve got a lot of guards, so there’s no guarantee of playing time.

Devion most likely coming back has the biggest impact. Williams won't start over Harkless. If Harmon's back, he won't start over Harmon. Those two guys are going to play 30+ minutes per game.

That means he's competing with Gibson, Noland, Cortes, Mason for one starting spot and some change.

All makes sense. We do seem to have an abundance of guards, especially after this signing class.

Or, what didn’t click with Alondes? We can’t assume Moser even wanted all of our current players.

That was what I meant by my direction comment. Meaning, did Moser tell him to bounce? Or did Alondes not like the setup. Or, like mentioned earlier, just tons of guards and Alondes saw the writing on the wall.

Is it "official" that Harmon is coming back?

Hey Alondes.... transfer to Tulsa if you aren't going to stay at OU.

I am in favor of this decision! Onward, and good luck, Alondes.

Is harmon confirmed to be coming back?

Is harmon confirmed to be coming back?

No, but unless he gets a good draft grade that say early 2nd round, he’s coming back.

Don’t expect any announcement until nearly last minute as well. This isn’t “just give me a grade and I’m back” it’s “I really want to go to the NBA and will do whatever I can to get there”

Harmon attempting to go to the NBA is pretty delusional. I don't know who he's taking advice from but they're really steering him wrong if he really thinks he has a chance to jump to the league.

OU' s team and season changed when he went out with covid

No question Alondes had value. But he was also inconsistent. You could never be sure what you were going to get from him. He could be really good when he got it going.

Not really. Might as well get the free evaluation of scouts telling you what you need to do in order for you to get drafted. Now, if he truly wants to leave OU, then yeah, that’s something else.

As for Williams, hopefully he goes and has a good final year. Covid sucked in terms of impacts here.

no harm in going through the process. Hes from a great family. They are smart about it.
