Good to see Josh and the boys giving hoops some love over on the scoop.

Good quote from the write-up:

"I saw a lot of positive energy when I was playing with them. I definitely felt a lack of size but I felt like they had a little more swag to them and the energy was really high. It's probably not like it is at the next level but this year I was getting doubled, tripled even quadrupled teamed and I always had to pass the ball. I kind of relate my game to Kevin Love in that when I get the ball I like to full-court outlet it. Finding an outlet deep is probably my biggest strength."

I am hopeful that Arent is a "tough" player that likes to mix it up inside.

i don't think that it was an accident or coindidence that when arent was on campus that longar longar just happened to be in the gym at the same time. it is likely that they did that on purpose to see if he could defend a big 12 caliber post player. from all reports longer got alittle the best of him. but, longar was the test and apparently arent got a passing grade.

Longar has always been a very difficult guy to defend. I remember Al raving about him when he was a freshman at how just how dominant he would look in practice.

Not to mention this guy is a Junior in college and Longar has been out getting paid to play basketball for the last four years. If he even stayed on the court with Longar defensively it would translate well to the B12 at this point
