Man we’ve had an abnormal amount of turnover in the assistant ranks. I guess the shot doctor won’t be around to help with any shooting woes we have during the season.

I have no idea what the issue was, but if Coach Moser is that tough to work for, that's a problem. The word will get out (if it hasn't already) and he'll have trouble attracting quality candidates going forward. So I really hope it's just been a run of bad luck and he's not the cause of the departures.

He may be tough to work for, but this feels different. I would guess there is something else behind the scenes, such as health or ethics/legal.

When you say tough — do you mean micromanager or yelling/dressing people down, expects too much (working 24 hours like bill Snyder) or is it just his energy and focus is tough to keep up with?

I do worry that his method of hiring ex head coaches is a tough situation to keep up. Guys like that typically have egos and are looking for the next thing.

This one seems especially troubling. Brady hasn’t been a head coach since 2016, is close to 60, and likely isn’t looking for a new head coaching gig. Unless it is health related, there is no reason to lose a guy like that, especially at this time of year. And of course, the fact he was only here a few months and never even coached a game for us makes it even more unusual. Again, if it is due to health or some other legitimate family issue, that changes things.

I just can’t see him quitting a week before the season starts because Moser was too tough, unless they got into a fight or something. I doubt that’s the case though. Hopefully it’s nothing too serious with health or family.

Bill synder. Grinder. All film done at office. Brady knew porter. I think he knew he’s a grinder.

This is just opinion! Repeat MY OPINION.

Anyone know if Moser had issues keeping assistants at previous schools he coached? You would think there's a pattern if it's a matter of him being tough to work for. Timing also seems odd if that's the explanation. Why not ride out the year while quietly job searching?

I don’t expect him to air things in public, but it also seems silly to say he hasn’t given it any thought because he is focused on Sam Houston. Given the lack of anything resembling a legitimate OU basketball beat, I wonder if we will ever really find out what happened.
