it's been like 3 games since I saw them miss an open jumper.

geez.

coolest moment i have ever seen in a bball game. bob huggins on the floor with butler..that was awesome.

Butler plays amazing defense but Duke is just in the zone right now.

I'm not a fan of Huggins from his prior transgressions, but I couldn't help but appreciate his affection for his players. I'd love to play for a coach like that.

I'm beginning to believe the same thing. How much easier is the game when you refuse to miss open shots?

I don't hear all that talk about Duke not deserving a #1 seed any longer. Wow, they are good.

I can't stand Duke for one reason and one reason only...Dookie Vitale.

If not for him I'd actually like them. I mean what's not to like? They play smart, hard ball. Good defense. Nice offense. Ever hear a Duke player interviewed that couldn't structure a sentence? They are the type of team America should pull for.

Damn you Dookie V for ruining it for me!

very true !!!!!!!!!!

I have no problem with Duke, as Dick Vitale is irrelevant to me. He is a has-been with a shtick that expired a long time ago....

It's an interesting match-up because Butler has more or just as many Pro's as Duke, but Duke just plays so smart.

Undoubtedly, I will be pulling for the Horizon League.

Their game is pretty versatile. I do think if you hound them on the outside and have some bulk underneath you can hang, but they are pretty darn good....and they are also most definitely "more tough" than Dook teams have been in the past (which makes me despise them less - I always hated those overly finesse groups that seemed to squeak by).

I'm torn on who to root for.

I can't find anything to dislike about this Duke team and in fact, love watching them play on both ends of the court.

On the other hand, Butler reminds me so much of a Sampson team which brings back a lot of fond memories.

Looking forward to it either way.

I hate duke an I will be pissed all summer if they win

I personally think Duke has twice as many pro's at Butler. I think Butler has 1 maybe 2 if Mack develops.

Coack K. He seems like a real arrogant prick.

Finally, he is overrated too IMHO the guy can have his pick of anyone in recruiting pratically granted he us in the title game this year but if he was such a genius coach he should make atleast the elite 8 every year.. What was rht stat that duke hasn't beat a seed higher than 5 in ten years...

Since 1986, Duke has been in the NC game 1 out of (almost) every 3 years (25 NC games, 8 trips - but one of those 25 years he only coached part of the season). He is 11-1 in Elite 8 games, 8-3 in FF games, and (currently) 3-4 in NC games. Also since '86, he has failed to reach the Sweet 16 only 6 years (one of those years being the one he didn't coach). Since the '82 (incoming) class he has had only 3 classes who did not play in the FF.

If your argument is that that doesn't matter because he recruits well, I would submit that recruiting is a part of the job. Also, the same could be said for UNC, UK, KU, Syracuse, UConn, UCLA, UT, etc. No coach makes the Elite 8 every year, and to suggest that they are poor coaches for not doing so is ridiculous.

I am sorry...but all efforts to rag on Coach K's coaching abilities must be labeled as FAIL.
