Big Monday @ ISU

Not sure I was ever praising this team. Since the Naz Long injury, I figured this team would struggle to complete for the conference championship. I was disappointed in the back-to-back losses to Baylor and Texas, but the win at kst hopefully helps to get back on track.

If Iowa St can find a way to win tonight, and Saturday @tcu, then it sets up a game against top 3 KU next Monday. It's obviously a huge task, but if they find a way to win all 3, they are back to one of the better teams in the country.

Exhibit A:

To be fair, it was one of OU's "worst performances" because they were playing a quality opponent. Yes I know about Villanova, but I'm not sure they're in the same category as OU or Iowa St.

Exhibit A:

I may have been wrong about Villanova, but to that point and since then, OU has been having to play more more difficult teams (big 12 teams,) and it shows. Their games have been much closer as of late.

It doesn't show for OU nearly as much as it has for ISU, I would say. I mean, we're not the one with three conference losses.

And OU's non-conference schedule easily ranks with ISU's; it was arguably more difficult.
