Bill Self at Jeff Capels age ...

Is this supposed to disprove my assertion? If you would like to discuss mathematics then I'm your Huckleberry. As for your quantitative modeling; anyone with knowledge of the inner workings of established investments firms knows that at best your a dog on a leash; given little, if any room to actually be innovative. So really you are just a castrated plug & chugger; attempting to split hairs between traditional asset allocation & tactical asset allocation, while scanning the landscape for some new negatively correlated investments. Real impressive!

You are simply an intellectually dishonest buffoon whose act has grown old & tired.

Love your last sentence and oh so accurate.

LOL @ this. Missouri is 8-8 in the weak conference while OU signed a bunch of guys in the middle of the night are was a whisker from 7-9.

Missouri is the most pathetic athletic program in all sports in the nation. Seriously there is not a BCS program that has done less. They suck at everything.

First of all... I just wanted to bump this thread since it's the last time you posted. Haven't seen you around much today for some reason...

Second, you can spin this season as being a hair from 7-9, but the reality is you weren't 7-9. You were 5-11. And while you were inches from tying (not winning) the Nebraska game and you did blow a big lead against OSU, you also needed overtime to beat Iowa State (a game you were losing with less than a minute left) and in your win against OSU the game was within one or two possessions for the entire second half and easily could've gone either way.

One man's "whisker from 7-9" is another man's virtual 3-13.

Or we could just agree that you were 5-11 and OU is a really bad basketball team right now, and there isn't an OU fan anywhere that wouldn't trade basketball programs with Mizzou right now.

I'm happy with where MU football and basketball are right now and the direction they're headed. The rest of the athletic department... don't act like anyone really cares about the non-revenue sports (where Missouri's actually been doing pretty good lately anyway, but that's beside the point).

Yeah, if OU was almost 7-9, then OSU was almost 10-6, and looking at a 5 or 6 seed in the tournament.

OSU's almost done a whole lot of stuff, in a whole lot of sports.

I don't know a lot of OU fans that would trade programs, but we'd be happy to have your coach and many of your players.

OSU "almost" wins the Big 12 in football sometimes.. damn those pesky south teams.

My point exactly. If you start judging a coach on what he's almost done, you're in trouble.

I almost won a national title in rugby. All it would have taken was one more win at regions and then several at nationals. Does that count as being a whisper away?

Yes! Congrats on your national title!

I almost qualified for the US Open... only I shot an 88 at Lafortune in Tulsa.
