He was 6-9 from 3, not sure that classifies as shooting poorly.
Not sure if anyone watched the game last night, but it was pretty cool watching Buddy, Frank and Naz long all playing on the same time. Frank Mason played incredible and had 24 points in 24 minutes. Buddy came in and knocked down 3 highly contested threes in a row in the last 3 min. It was a fun game to watch the last 15 min.
Love what the Kings have done this offseason though! Give them another year or two and they could be very solid.
Unfortunately for them, they play in the West....too many heavyweights in that conference right now.
top heavy though. making the playoffs is a possibility if I put my abd glasses on and look at their roster compared to say utah or clippers. I think Fox is the winner PG if the draft.
The West looks like this to me:
1. Warriors
2. Thunder
3. Rockets
4. Spurs
5. Clippers
6. T-Wolves
7. Jazz
8. Nuggets
9. Blazers
10. Mavs
11. Grizzlies
12. Pelicans
13. Kings
14. Suns
15. Lakers

I like the Rockets more than the Thunder. Also, I'm not sure the Clippers know who their PG is going to be. It sure as heck isn't Austin Rivers.
I just gotta see the Rockets play before judging. 2 ball dominant pgs at the same time may not mesh well. And Houston lost its bench with the trade for CP3.I like the Rockets more than the Thunder. Buddy playing now on NBA.com against the Rockets (free preview for a week). Shooting 1 of 5 early on.
Buddy had a good finish after a tough first quarter. He was 8-17 (3-7 from 3-pt range) with 19 points and a +3 in a five-point loss to Houston. I don't see the Kings winning 30 games with at lineup.
I plan to follow Jamal Murray's (Nuggets) second year as well. They will always be linked together because 1) Buddy was taken one spot ahead of him in the draft, 2) they are both SGs, 3) Buddy stayed four years and Murray one year. Why does the last one matter? So many are convinced that "all things being equal", you always take the younger player. Buddy struggled a bit for the second straight summer, and I read a few articles stating that this is the year Murray soars past him. We shall see.
