This is where I’m at, the last part can’t be understated. Trump could ban the use of oil, call Oklahomans every name in the book, say Durant is tougher than Westbrook and still win Oklahoma.

It's not about winning Oklahoma. It's about getting back out there. It's about starting his campaigning up again (Biden won't be far behind). It's about getting his message out there.

The weather is not an issue, that's BS. He could easily have the rally in the evening when it cools off. Or have it in a cooler state! I hear Montana is nice this time of year. That's just a ridiculous excuse.

The weather is not an issue, they could easily hold the rally in the evening or in a northern state. There was no reason to pick Oklahoma or even hold the rally in person.

Really? It's been hot outside. Really hot. With a fairly high heat index. BAD idea to hold anything outside in the sun in Oklahoma (or any comparable area) right now.

And outside rallies take a lot more time to plan for protection reasons. Trying to protect the President at The Gathering Place would be a nightmare on one week's notice. Not saying it can't or couldn't be done, but there are a lot of reasons to hold this thing inside if you are going to hold it.
