Wishes we were playing this week

Good break this well though given minutes played.

Earlier practice yesterday, then went out recruiting. Practice started at 6 am everyone was there by 5:45 and ready to go. Wouldn't have happened last year.

Was in Dallas today got OU club function with Blake, individual workout.

Good rhythm with starters, we're winning, big minutes overrated, kids just want to play.

Didn't want Burks or Higgins to see open space, did good job of that. Learned from Texas debacle where we forgot Hamilton could shoot the ball

1-1 d is improving, good team d, swarm, communicating, need to rebound better.

Fitz can shoot, big help. Respect j, he's crafty, understands angles. Had to learn how to play under the rim and he's done that. Better shape has helped a lot. Want to put him in pick and POP situation.

This group is good at staying motivating and upbeat.

Cant stay satisfied, keep working.

Can't let egos get big from getting praise, tells guys not to read "things"

"control the things we can control" mantra of season.

Goodman was a heck of an assistant coach at Bucknell, Phelps has great ties to Texas. Easy transition, trust them.

Recruiting has been good, good response. Tying to explain what we can.

Very good product to sell with, school, program's tradition and facilities.

At least 2, maybe 3 in late signing period. 2 are positions, 3 is best available or transfer. pg and center appear to be targets. Always good transfers available.

1 phone call a month to Jr not enough, 2 calls a week to Srs not enough.

Lack of chances to talk and watch kids is why transfers rates are up across the country. Records have been set the last two years for amount of transfers.

Good in roads in 2012, 2013 for recruiting.

Iowa st is tough team, hoiberg doing very good team. vander beak can shoot, diante garrett is really good.

The conference is very competitive league, kinda wide open.

Capel should become an assistant with the Clippers. He talks to Blake every day he said in another interview and when Blake is close he runs to see him. I really question is maturity level to run a big time basketball program.

Excellent report, Sam! You must have a audiographic (is that a good word?) memory to recall everything Capel and the interviewer talked about in great detail. Impressive!

Good stuff Sam!!!!! Keep it coming. I love Capel's attitude this year.:clap:clap

Makes you wonder exactly how much time Capel had to get to know TMG and Gallon.......especially TMG.
