Carl Blair starting for Cam Clark tomorrow

Mike Houck @LonKruger just said on radio interview that Carl Blair will start in place of Cameron Clark tomorrow. Said hopes will jumpstart Clark.

My gut tells me he'll respond with one of his best games in weeks.

Either way, though, the move was inevitable. Let's hope it works out for the best to get us back on a winning track.

The struggles this year will be rewarded next season. This team can still make either the NCAA or NIT Tournament (NIT is more likely). They will go into next season returning their top 8 players (counting M'Baye). They will bring in two really good shooting guards. OU just needs to stick together as a team and the fans need to support them. I truly believe OU will be a top 25 team next season.

I Said on my early post that starting Carl would benefit the team. Maybe just for now to let Grooms come off the bench and slow the whole game down. When you have the veteran coach like Lon he knows how to tweak the players...

Now, 15 games into the season Kruger finally starts Blair and people praise him for it.

I like his aggressiveness in going for steals. Even when it doesn't work, it still makes the opponents worry about one more thing from our defense.

Well, mayby.I have argued that the combination of Grooms ,Pledger, and Cam was much better than Carl, Pledger, and Cam because Gooms was a better point guard than Carl.

I have and am willing to continue to argue that the combination of Grooms, Carl, and either Pledger or Cam is much better than Grooms,Pledger, and Cam because Carl can do things that niether Pledger or Cam can do.

I don't see that as a contridiction.

Turned out to be a great move! Blair played very well and Clark came off the bench on fire getting a steal and quick bucket. Hopefully this will put a spark under Cam the rest of the season.
