Just beat a good La Tech team to make the tourney. My second favorite team due to growing up there. James Woodard is a heckuva player and they have a lot of young talent. I was skeptical with the Danny Manning hire, but he's done a very good job. I wish James would transfer to OU and play with his brother ;)

Tons of sophomores on that team... They only lose 1 guy and he isn't a primary contributor.

Hopefully they can pull of an upset or two.

Break out the black uniforms and knock off Creighton in round 11111111111.

The ONLY problem with having a young team, and not really losing anybody, is that they also don't really have the room/scholarships to go get better talent either. They could really use a good big man. A rebounder. But their guards have gotten a lot better over the course of the season.

Yea, they have Micah Littlejohn coming in and he seems like a legit player. 6'6'' 180 SG/SF. Not a big guy go, they will go into next season with Rashad Smith, Lew Evans, and D'Andre Wright again.

Manning will probably be gone now. Anytime TU has success, coaches leave for a better job.

Too soon for him to get too good of an offer, I think.

They've really only been playing what I would call "good ball" for a tad over a month now. He does something similar next year, and the offers might start coming in.

Agreed. I can see Manning staying at Tulsa 3-4 years max if he continues to have success.

If he can win at Tulsa for 3-4 years he will get a job at a major school. What if he got the OSU job? Wouldn't that be ironic to have Self at KU and Manning at OSU. I figure the mental midget has a couple of years left at OSU.
