Could Stephen Clark be OU's PG of the future?

Barring injuries or a team getting a big head...the finals next year should be Douglass v. Woodward.

So Parker and Clark are the 2013 names that we have? I'll try to get a scouting report on them if i catch them playing.

Anyone know what AAU team this kid plays for? I'm also a freshman and have played many if the best teams from around the state but I have never seen or heard of this kid before. Any info would be appreciated

I'm guessing he'll be playing for Athlete's First 15's this summer.

Has anyone here seen Nino Jackson play? He transferred from NW Classen to Ardmore and most people think he's the best player in the state regardless of class. He is a combo guard who is supposedly really athletic. My nephew played against him in a tournament and said he destroyed them.

I would think Capel would be tracking him closely as well.

Clark played for the Oklahoma Hawks last year, but I suspect it will be the Hawks 16U or 17U this year.

I played against the Hawks 2 years ago and I don't remember him from then but they did have a dominating big man

I've meet one of the Hawks' coach before and I have a good feeling about Clark staying with them and Oklahoma finally getting another AAU option.

Hope he doesn't get involved with Athletes First

AF is the only Nike affiliate in the State and now with Nike making it's own AAU circuit, I suspect anyone who wants to be seen will be going with AF.

its not good when the head coach of the only big time AAU team in the state is a vocal enemy of OU

If ur talking about carl henry, don't plan on him being with them long. I wouldn't be suprised that if X went pro, he might start an X. Henry AAU team.

Romulus, you and I should start our own AAU program.

Great idea! You and Rom know basketball, and you wouldn't have an agenda that is pontentially detrimental to OU's recruiting efforts.

I'll do the coaching and Tony can be the one in charge of handing out Tshirts and setting up contracts with the shoe companies and making off the record relationships with college coaches

Blake and Taylor should start/fund an AAU team with their dad as the coach.

If you want to get seen and travel at the big events you have to play with Athlete's First. I highly doubt Carl Henry will be coaching the 17's now that Xavier will likely be going pro. Their 15's were coached by a different guy and I wouldn't be surprised to see him move up.

The summer scene has changed so much to where there are definite power structures and the have's and the have nots. It's much more difficult to start a team from scratch. Oklahoma doesn't have the talent year in and year out to have multiple teams in multiple tournaments. Having one really good teams allows the top players to really get a chance to be seen and to play against the best talent in the country.

That doesn't always serve the interest of the in state schools but I'm not sure that's what really matters.

All you need to know right there.

Did they ban AAU coach's from being able to get speaking fees and other related fees from a University?
