Interesting quote by Fraschilla on Gallon:

Does Fraschilla see a pro future for Gallon?

"I don't, personally," he responded. "I know there are some teams that are intrigued by him ... but I was very disappointed in his game overall. His work ethic is below average. He has no desire to be a low-post player. Weight's going to be an issue with him. And I don't think he really understands how to become the kind of player he could be, with the kind of athleticism he has."

Nothing terribly shocking in this article. Except perhaps that Fran was really upfront without any sugar coating of his assessments. Will be very interesting to see where they get drafted and how well they do with the teams who get them.

It's pretty sad how Tommy's chances aren't even mentioned. Wonder what that dude is thinking right now.

Once again Fran is spot on. He's one of my favorite announcers.

hafta agree with that too.

He does some things athletically that make you stare in wonder ... but he dogs it so much that it's hard to say he's gonna make the league.

He has more than enough talent - but someone did him a horrible disservice by not teaching him to be a hard worker.

No question Tiny has the potential (there's that word again) to make it in the NBA. The big question is does he have the drive and determination to take advantage of an opportunity, providing he's lucky enough to get one? Words don't mean anything to team owners and general managers. They want to see results from their investments. I hope the kid makes it. But the jury is still out as far as I'm concerned. If anyone needed another year in school, it was Tiny Gallon.

Neither Willie or Tiny have the off the charts athleticism where they ll be allowed to make multiple errors and still be given chances in the league. There are plenty of MEN in the NBA who have their talent or more who work their asses off for the opportunity of a roster spot. The one common theme between our titanic trio seems to be immaturity and a lack of real work ethic, all harbingers of likely bad outcomes.
