Darion Strong-Moore transferring?

#81 sucked. He and my son were teammates. He was a waste of space on the bus rides. I wouldn't let him get my son a cup of Gatorade.

I wish the coach would've kicked him off the team so someone could've transferred in and contributed.

I go to Mexico for a week on the beach and come back to this thread of some mainstays having a battle royale.

The only thing I can't figure out is how 04s post I've quoted fits in here? Who is 81? And since when did basketball teams have an 81 on the roster?

I'm a dweeb, that's fine. Us dweebs stick to making money and let the hunnies follow suit :dance005:

I'd like to be at least friendly with everyone on the board here but it seems my (sometimes overbearing) negativity just isn't ideal for some. I'm about as positive as one can be with the whole team coming back and Trae and MAYBE MPJ, so I think it's time to be buddy buddy :chestram2:

The whole "I make more money than you therefore I'm a somebody" line gets really old. I would venture to guess some of these posters whom some of you refer to as snowflakes have more success in their middle finger than you will ever see. Success can be determined many ways, and anyone who's ever raised a law abiding citizen or helped care for their dying parents is pretty darn successful in my book. Just this week in Mexico I met a vendor on the beach. He's 20 years old, and his parents died 4 years ago. Kid has a great smile and a beautiful personality. My wife and I bought 2 blankets from him, I probably should have bought all of them but I don't have a need for 50 blankets, nor would I know how to get them home. He told my wife and i, with a smile on his face, "I love my life". The kid is dirt poor but he's successful because he's happy.

gotta agree 110% with you there.

To each individual, it's all that matters!

He loves his life, I love my life and the people in it as well. You old guys really hate sarcasm or any form of joking around. "Locker room talk" if you will:ez-laugh:

No, I think most of us have grown tired of your bi-polar-esque mood swings during the games. Go see a Dr and get a mood stabilizer. It will help you immensely to deal with life. Working out will do wonders too.

Buddy I've probably done more workouts and training in my youth than you have in your entire life.

I appreciate the free consultation Doc. Go check the message boards from February on. Rarely did I post in game threads other than observations. Some of you are so stubborn and thick headed it's nearly IMPOSSIBLE to have a decent conversation, even in the damn offseason lol

Why am I not surprised you guys are still involved in the same tired argument on the fourth page of this thread? Have you declared a winner yet? :ez-roll:

What do you want to bet no one will win if it goes another four pages, or another forty for that matter? I'll let you decide if I'm psychic or my experience over the years led me to that conclusion?

Seriously, guys! Can we get back on topic and leave this thread open to talk about potential transfers? The easy thing for me to do is close it. I'll leave it up to you. Thanks!

Back on Topic

Jeff Goodman just tweeted that Darion is transfering

once again smh about this loss. we really need him and he had improved. I was looking forward to seeing him play without the shoulder injury.

I don't agree. We have bigger needs at this point than a 1 year guy who can only play PG and is, at best, about as good as Jordan Shepherd.

I'd love to see us add another big guy to rebound or a good 3 pt shooter.

Yep, lost his place, plain and simple. Shep will be as good, and Young should be better. Not much playing time for a third string pg.

I would assume we would go after a SF, right? I would think that is why we are so high on Shakur.

PG: Young/Shep
SG: Kam/James
SF: Odomes
PF: Doolittle/Buford (I know these guys can play SF)
C: Lattin/Mcnease

Not sure how many minutes Freeman, Manek and Polla will see. Probably about the same Freeman saw last year, hopefully more if he knocks down 3s more consistently. Think one of them will redshirt?

The staff doesn't agree.

Agreed. I was actually looking forward to seeing what a healthy DSM could do next year. But IMO, Shepherd passed him in the rotation last season. Sad to say, that made Darrion expendable. I would rather see us use that ship on a scoring wing or a big with some bulk to rebound inside.

I am not doubting the staff at all. Just saying it saddens me.

I am sure you guys are right about him being expendable and needing other spots filled. Not arguing that either. It probably is for the best.
