Not necessarily.

Team didn't get back until Friday, most likely. Joe may or may not have talked to Jeff then. Probably wouldn't "fire" him on Saturday/Sunday.

I know I'm not going out on a limb here, but I'm guessing it happens early this week, after this first weekend of NCAA games, or not at all. If not at all, Jeff probably gets public support from Joe within the next 10 days.
 
I saw that,and I also saw Holcomb look at him like he was crazy.Holcomb says 85 % Jeff is back.
 
I say there is a 110% chance that ol' Deno is a Big Time DORK! That is all..............

Honestly, I'd like to think that Jeff would not be left in limbo for 10 days as to do so would be unprofessional. Compare to the John Blake situation, within 24 hours of his last game, there was a meeting of the regents and he was terminated as HC.

I'm a realist, and MBB is not going to get that type of attention, but if he was/is gone, we'd know by Monday or Tuesday at the latest. If he is staying, then I'd think that I'd wait until Thursday so it gets attention on the biggest day of college basketball so as to have maximum impact.

What I'm worried about for some of you guys that want Capel gone immediately (not judging and PERFECTLY understand the reasoning) is that Castiglione may come out and give more than just a vote of confidence, but may actually say more than that (i.e. committed through term of last contract).

Whatever happens, I hope that we can all just accept it, move on, and support whoever will be here next season.
 
the ncaa tourney is when all the AD's come out and shmooze with each other and with the available/interested coaches. if he hasn't done it in the next couple of days then it won't be happening.
 
once Gillispie is hired by Tech, my hurry to get rid of Capel will diminish dramatically
