So poke fans, what is the story on the two Louisiana freshman guards? Haven't watched a whole lot of osu basketball but based on the boxscores I've seen they haven't had much impact yet. Is the backcourt a weakness this year?
I dont know what Ford is doing with his lineups and rotations.. He ALWAYS (100% of the time) has Gulley and Sidorakis starting and in at the same time. 3-4 minutes to start the game and second half they get nothing on offense because these guys are terrible.
There isnt one thing on a basketball court that Sidorakis does better than Olukemi, but he starts both halves over him? He only played 10 minutes today (Nick), but he pretty much plays the first 5 minutes of each half. Why not start out the game and second half with much better players?
But, they lost today because Keiton Page couldnt hit anything.

Penn and Olukemi need to be starting over Gulley and Sidorakis. But, this game was lost because Pilgrim missing some absolute bunnies and the complete pissing of themselves when VT brought the trap the last 2 minutes of the game.
I still feel pretty good about this team, I don't think the offense will be this bad all season. And, they're playing pretty good defense to start the season off.
I'll say 9-7 in conference, and a 10 seed.
Pilgrim missed 2 dunks and a layup, with NOBODY around him. One of the dunks he was stuffed by the rim and fell on his back, lol.
Moses missed some bunnies too, and OSU missed a ton of front end opportunities at the line.
They really should never have lost that game today.

Olukemi is nice and will start by season's end. Their pg situation is at a stalemate. you have three guards who are just ok at the pg. They're looking at pgs in the spring. They almost got Nurideen Lindsey, the juco pg out of Redlands that's one of the best pgs in the nation.
And that's what is keeping me pretty optimistic about them. They are playing really hard and are doing well on defense with not a whole lot of breakdowns, and I just can't imagine the offense staying this bad as the season progresses. And until a Ford team doesn't improve greatly at the end of the season, I've got faith.
I think Paige is 0 for California from 3 point land. He has to score from the perimter to justify his playing time.
Og course, no one else has stepped up to the plate either.
It's a little different for Page since he's not going to be so open with the departure of JA. He'll adjust and shoot better. Is Cobbins playing? What about Shaw and Franklin? I now Dowell isn't playing.
Is it just me or does Pilgrim look overweight and out of shape? I think that's why he's having a hard time finishing.
