Don't forget your Sooners today...

bases loaded I was a nervous wreck.

then a run walked in and I was like OMG NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO...

then first pitch popup. sweetness.

nice job sooners

What a nerve racking game! Great win.

+1, The top of the ninth was a nail biter. Time for something good to happen, hopefully we bring home the championship.

That was a good game. I couldn't believe it when they walked in the run in the 9th.... is Jackie Bradley Jr. so good that you don't even CHALLENGE him when the tying run is on second and the bases loaded? A 4 pitch walk?

Wait... I just saw that he was listed as the number 1 outfield prospect for next year's draft. Maybe he is that good. It's just scary to walk in a run like that!

Very scary indeed. But it worked out; I guess SG knew what he was doing. Great win for the Sooners (and Yankees too, skyvue). :ez-laugh:

I was hoping they wouldn't throw it to JBJ.

That's the exact same thing I was wondering. I figured they knew what they were doing it just seemed strange because all 4 pitches were same spot and not even close.

By all means, congrats to the Yankees on salvaging a season split with the Mets. They must be awfully proud of that.

I'm almost glad I missed the ninth inning in the OU game -- I would have found it very stressful.

Golloway has team rules that hair cannot touch the ear, so Buchelle said "ok, I'll just grow it out in the back."

Im happy he finally got a hit (homer) in the NCAA's. Now its time to beat Clemson.

Who's gonna pitch? Bobby Shore?

I wouldn't mind Neal going 2nd, like he did against UVA. Either way, Shore is going to pitch even if he goes the 3rd game.

Game 2 against Clemson:

Through 2 innings its tied at 0-0. Some good pitching by Shore, with some control problems for 2 batters. Other than that its been a good pitching performance so far. We had the bases juiced with 2 outs in the top of the 2nd, but failed to bring anyone home.

Going to the bot of the 4th, Sooners are up 1-0. Caleb Bushyhead drove in Reine with an RBI single. Bushyhead is having a heck of a CWS so far.

Shore with the worst melt down I have EVER seen....

He threw 14 straight balls to start the bot of the 4th. He finally got a strike but then, shortly after, there was an RBI single with the bases loaded (luckily it was just that). Now there was a sac fly. 2-1 Clemson.
