DUKE Starting PG to Transfer

Coach K didn't drop Thornton, he left b/c he wasn't going to be "the guy" at point. Didn't want to face any competition.

Allen returning and Jackson coming in leaves less minutes at the point. He also got talked into graduating early. So him redshirting is what he needs.

Sources. They speak for themselves. I have a proven track record.

I hope these arent the same sources that said we were leading for Bolden.
I don't care if your sources are right. The kid is going to be dominant for some team out there. I would love to have him here but nothing has pointed to us recruiting him or him having interest in us.

We aren't going to get him and probably won't get Young either but I'm sure whatever juco pg we bring in after Young chooses to go else where will be better than young anyways(according to you everytime)

i don't know what the future holds, but you really love to base everything off of recruiting rankings

BTW, Christian James had better numbers than Thorton. Who knows how they will turn out down the line, but Christian James isn't a 5 star prospect. And just judging by 1 year, neither was Thorton

I said we were leading? please find that... Desoto hoops jumped all over me when I said he wasnt coming to OU...
There was a point and time OU was in a good position...

Dont use logic, it kills people.

lol good one.

And yet he will commit to another school that has another PG on their roster.

If he doesn't come here b/c we have another PG on our roster than he wasn't coming here anyways. Murray and Briscoe still came even with Ulis on the roster and Fox committed before any of them entered the draft. Jackson still committed to Duke with Thornton on the roster. Graham committed with Mason on the roster.

If we brought in Simon or Thornton and Young didn't come here...he wasn't coming anyways.
OU isn't Kentucky or Duke. Those programs have a lot more to sell to blue chip recruits. Elite recruits go to Kentucky and Duke in spite of the talent already there, but it doesn't mean that depth charts are meaningless to those recruits.

If you're OU, one of the few advantages you may have other Kentucky and Duke is the ability to sell a top recruit on a greater certainty of being showcased immediately.

How does James have better numbers?
please explain this to me

I don't know what you are proving? You do realize that James barely touched the floor here until late. And I promise had James been on Duke's team this year, he wouldn't have gotten any more minutes there.

i know stats are not everything, but stats show James was more effective.

And OU was the better team this year. Teams are differently built so yeah James might not have gotten any minutes at duke but that doesn't change their stats

7.1 ppg to 3 ppg. The stats aren't proving anything in James's favor.
