ESPN Still Has OU a #5 Seed

I think we move down with UCLA winning the pac 12 and Kentucky will move up because of the name of the team...Also VCU and New Mexico will move up for winning their conference titles too (all 6 seeds) so we should be a 6

Doubt it.

I don't understand Virginia. They win the regular season title and are in the tourney final, yet only considered a 3-4 seed. If the resume was the same, but it said Duke on the jersey, they'd be a 1 seed.

definitely not getting the benefit of the doubt with the ACC being down this year but they do only have 4 top 50 wins.

Do you think the committee would match OU & Tulsa in a first round game?

It would be interesting if we did get Tulsa in round 1. Woodard vs Woodard part 2.

They've done it before, but that was in a season which the two teams didn't already play once. Plus, will Tulsa get a high enough seed? We're either going to be a #5 or a #6. Tulsa is unlikely going to be an #11 since they weren't on the bubble prior to winning their conference tournament. I guess you could argue for them being a #12, but I think they'll land at #13.

If we do play them, that means we're going up against Danny Manning again in the post-season...I'm already getting ready to go back into therapy ;).
