Had a Great Interview with Chad Ford!! He ask about my #Misunderstood tattoo and he LOVE it
.

Intereting, Chad say anything about Tiny? Looking good, etc. Probably wait to post something until after he leaves I guess (espescially if it is negative).

Mr. B,

Here is his last comment on Tiny

Tiny Gallon in (large) nutshell. He shot the lights out from NBA 3. Surprisingly light on his feet. Still not in terrific shape yet ...

Thanks!

I know I'm probably in the minority, but I'd like to see Tiny have some success in the NBA or wherever he ends up. Last season went wrong for a bunch of different reasons, but I thought towards the end, Tiny showed substantial effort.

Thanks!

Me, too. I really appreciated that he tried to come back several times against A&M on Senior Night.

I agree with you guys. Even though he made a mistake with accepting money, he still at least acted like playing hard and winning were important at the end of the year. I wish him the best of luck next year and hope to be able watch him play in the NBA sometime in the future

I hope so as well. Tiny wasn't as bad as it would seem. I'm not sure what's going on with this money thing, whether his Mom actually got the money or Tiny did, but he is a good kid and truly wanted to be here. He got some info that said he would be a high draft pick and went for it. I wish him the best.

I wish i felt that way, but I'm sick to death of these guys putting our program in dutch with behavior they know is wrong. And I feel the same way about our shoplifters, in a probationary way --- they had better keep their noses SPOTLESS during their remaining time in Norman.

I don't begrudge Tiny any future success, but he's off my radar. I don't even think of him as a former Sooner. His game didn't really progress while he was at OU, and I just feel no connection to him (or TMG) at all. They showed no discipline, they didn't work terribly hard (from all reports), and they arrived in Norman looking to leave.

I hate the one-and-done rule with a fiery passion. It's what let these guys come to OU, pull our program down to its lowest level in decades and then skip out of town.

There's a little devil on my shoulder telling me to wish them ill, to hope they don't get drafted and end up playing in Lithuania or somewhere, but I'm trying to ignore him and just not give them another thought.

I'm aware the above sounds harsh, and it probably is. I'm not proud of it, but I'm just being honest. That's how upset I am at how the last nine months went.

I think those are all valid reasons to be upset; you will CERTAINLY get no argument from me. Only thing I would say is that the "system" is just as much to blame as those two guys...Blake and his character spoiled us a little bit I think. Now we have a "motley crew" of transfers, JUCOS and throw in a few highly regarded HS recruits, I think Jeff is trying to build the right way now (not recruiting according solely to rankings or accolades).

I hate it too. It will be the downfall of college basketball and maybe even the NBA.

Tiny's future depends on 40 pounds.

If he loses them he will have a great career and makes millions of $. If not he will be a journeyman.

I love the 1 and done rule. It's great for college basketball. No way having Kevin Durant, John Wall, Xavier Henry, Michael Beasley was bad for college basketball. Does anybody really think Ohio State having Lebron for a year would have been bad for them?

Ford has him projected end of first round.

WW is projected a pick below him at 29th.

How many titles did those players win? I think the rule is terrible for college basketball because it can be hard to get a program's consistency going when players are using it like a revolving door. With elite programs, there's no more "building", there's "reloading". Seems like the better "teams" knock out the glorified HS all-star squads every year. (See: WVU vs. UK, UNI vs. KU...)

So we could have 2 guys drafted in the first round and we only won what 13 14 games? That has to be coaching....

Count me in the anti-one and done crowd. I think that if a player out of high school decides to go to college then he should have to play all four years, not one, not two, not three, but four years. The current rule is making a mockery out of education and needs to be addressed and my solution is the only way that would fix it imo.

That's a good question... Not only ww and tiny but crocker and tmg will also be playing for money somewere...
