This charity event benefits the Faith 7 Activity Center which provides on-the-job training and life skills to the developmentally disabled in the Shawnee area. In addition, the money raised from the Faith 7 Bowl allows the Activity Center to send participants to the Special Olympics and other beneficial activities.

Leading the way for the Oklahoma squad will be Tyson Jolly of Putnam City West. An All-State selection and the MVP of the Big 10 Conference, Jolly averaged 20 points and 9.1 rebounds per game and will play at Cal.

But as usual, it’s the Texas squad that has the majority of the super recruits. Among them is Rashard Odomes, who will play at OU after averaging 25.2 points and 12.4 rebounds per game at Copperas Cove High School.

Jalon Miller (TCU), Wendell Mitchell (Baylor) and King McClure (Baylor) will also be in the Big 12 Conference next season, while Austin Grandstaff (Ohio State) and Matt McQuaid (Michigan State) are headed to the Big 10.

Odomes is the best athlete by far during warmups

Odomes, mcquaid, Grandstaff, McClure, & jolly are just on a different level

Odomes with 37 points and 11 rebounds on 13 of 17 shooting and 9 of 10 from the free throw line. Won TX MVP honors.

No one on the floor could physically match up with him. He had his jump shot going so they couldn't pack the lane against him. His jump shot needs work but he's going to be a good one. 2nd best player on the court with some really high profile guys.

#1 being grandstaff

Loved his postgame interview. Seems like a great kid and he spoke about having to earn playing time at 0U, about nothing being handed to him.

Plus, he's fun on Twitter. He tweeted tonight that he loves OU fans already and he retweeted and replied to my congratulatory tweet within ten minutes.

He could be the next Buddy, as far as work ethic, personality, and being a fan favorite.
