All of these numbers are from OU's biggest player in about 35 minutes per game... The guy is the worst rebounder I have ever seen play in the post for OU, ever.

You pretty much get 5 rebounds per game just by being around the rim for 35 minutes, and he has never had more than 6.

3 vs Kansas
6 vs A&M
5 vs KSU
5 vs Nebraska
2 vs Mizzou
5 vs Texas
5 vs OSU
6 vs Baylor
5 vs ISU
6 vs CU
5 vs Tech
5 vs Texas
5 vs Baylor
6 vs A&M

Pretty simple, Fitz has a vertical of about 20.

The strange part to me is that he is able to use his body very effectively on the offensive end. He can't jump any higher on offense than he can on the boards, but he seems to be able to get his shot off most of the time. If he actually boxes someone out, he doesn't raise his hands to catch the ball. It's like he can either jump to get the ball, or box out but not both.

He needs to learn to rebound like Barkley used to...stick his as* into the guy. I'm sure he already knows that though so it means he's just not trying hard.

Right.. he is probably about 6'6'' with shoes on, 6'7'' AT BEST. But he can get his shot off on taller people.

The guy just cant rebound.

I remember one play this afternoon in the second half when he did just that, but he never reached up to get the ball. The guy he was blocking out just turned around and ran down the loose ball. The shot went across the rim and toward their bench. I believe Robinson was the guy that tracked down the rebound.

Wasn't he a good rebounder in high school. Seems like he played with another great player and out rebounded him all the time. Or am I thinking of someone else?

If I remember right he out rebounded Thomas Robinson at Brewster Academy their SR seasons. Not sure how that worked.

Fitz averaged 8 rebounds, Robinson averaged 13 rebounds.

That's right. Seems like the craziest notion of all time right now. Robinson is a beast on the boards.

I averaged 6 rebounds in HS at 6'2 and 2 in college at 6'4....totally different when the boys/men get bigger and stronger.

Huh.
I seemed to remember Fitz outdoing Robinson at something good at Brewster that had some of us believing we were getting the better player.

I do too. Must've averaged more points.
