And yes, elite pass rush can absolutely save a secondary. When Aguilar had time to throw early, he cut through the secondary like butter. It wasn't until we got pressure that he struggled.
Good point. When he had any time to throw, his receivers were WIDE OPEN. Their offense generated more than 450 yards. That didn't happen by accident. Thank heavens the defense finally forced turnovers. We didn't need to complain as much about the defense not forcing turnovers when they were forcing punts, but Tennessee did not punt until Q3. BV needs to focus on upgrading the secondary in the offseason if the defense is going to take it to the next level. I can't see how anyone would question that.
